Generally speaking, the discrimination of Africans most likely stems from the fact that they are believed to be lazy and inept. Now this draws from the fact that when parts of the continent were under the control of Europeans (South Africa, Zimbabwe) their economy flourished. After the collapse of the white supremacy, the entire economy crumbled. Even with the billions of dollars of aid going into the country the once flourishing economy (that was controlled by the whites) cannot seem to be reestablished by the native Africans. For the Capitalist western nations this just reeks of ineptitude ( and or laziness).
All other discrimination seems to come from this initial point of view.

That's a very narrow point of view. The economies flourished because the leadership at the time had free access to cheap and free labour. Further, they did not have to buy resources as such because they could easily grab land from locals and use the resources. Are you suggesting that africans brought the descrimination on themselves because they are believed to be lazy? Capitalists and colonialists were nothing more than oppressors. After they have lost power, they'll do anything to 'prove' that Africans cannot rule themselves. They'll even organise coups, sponsor rebels etc.
